LeakSeeker 89 Auto-ranging Fault Locator PCB

This is a bare PCB only - no components are included.

The LeakSeeker 89 locates the exact spot on the PC board (to within a fraction of an inch) where a shorted or leaky component is bringing a power supply bus or data line to ground. It is the only locator that can locate defects from zero to 300 ohms with no loss of resolution. It can even find active shorts that a DVM won’t even show. The high GAIN mode can locate shorted components on multi-layer boards with ground planes and a power layer. (from EDS-INC.com)

EDS Inc ceased production of the LeakSeeker in 2014. I came across an ad for the device many years ago in a back issue of Nuts and Volts Magazine and decided I wanted one which led me to contacting Dave Miga at EDS Inc and getting the necessary information to produce the PCBs to offer for others wishing to have a LeakSeeker 89. Dave at EDS Inc maintains stock of all parts required to build your own LeakSeeker 89 except for the PCB, enclosure, and overlays.
